Life is an enriching place with many promises of fulfilment as we explore the world we live in with enthusiasm. It is great to have a positive attitude, by having a great attitude experiences become more enjoyable.
We are challenged everyday to be responsible and to take responsibility of the beliefs we wish to run our lives by. We rely on our thoughts to create our reality, achievements and to style a way of living that is best suited to our needs. The power of positive thinking should never be overlooked. Challenges can and will seek us out at times and this is where we test ourselves. These challenges are often negative forces, which can be people, environments, spiritual and emotional energies. They can block, hold, limit, deny or lock in patterns that prevent positive accomplishments in our lives. The topic of negativity is huge and covers many areas that are too numerous to mention here. Unfortunately, negative forces can strip us of our wealth and worth if we allow them to. We are all familiar with terms such as drama queen, tall poppy syndrome, two faced and bullying. These are just some examples of everyday negativity. The spiritual and emotional forces that can be classed as negative include, but are not limited to; deep parental forces, which inhibit people from fulfilling their own dreams, controlling partners or friends, astrological alignments and spiritual/psychic blocks. One of the best ways to prevent and overcome negative forces is first and foremost have belief in yourself and a clear focus on what you wish your life to be. Spend quality time with great people who uplift you and value who you are as a person. Having a healthy diet is also important in overcoming negativity. Another way to limit the most common negative forces is being determined to attract only the positive in your life. This is where affirmations and meditation can work wonders, they are free and only require a few moments of your time but are great tools to provide you with inspiration and clarity. I will be covering more in future posts on the benefits of regular meditation. If you have a unique way of overcoming negativity that you would like to share, I would love to hear from you. ![]() Optimism is having hope and confidence about the future in general or in the success of something in particular e.g., career, marriage, medical procedures or treatments, even an investment. Being optimistic enhances our confidence and assists in creating calmness in our experiences. Optimism is such a great mental attitude to have in life; it prevents and overcomes the negative thinking of pessimism. In everyday life, we are often challenged by negativity and it can be hard to stay positive and focused on an outcome we desire. Our attitudes affect everything we do and all we wish to achieve, however you have control over them. How we wish to grow and perform in our lives is truly our own choice. Open the door to positive intent and focus on today's outcome and what you wish tomorrow to be. Environmentally, we need a place to grow and be nurtured, including a home filled with positivity. Our mental state of awareness should always have an optimistic flare. Optimism is nourishment to our life's journey. We are not just nourished by consuming food and fluids. Optimism enhances and supports wellness and clarity. Positive affirmations are a great support in keeping an optimistic outlook. Here are two that you can use on a daily basis. "I am comfortable in optimism" "I enjoy an optimistic approach to life" Welcome to my first ever blog post. I have decided to make this post about you and how important it is to love yourself.
Always remember you are the inventor of your world and life path. It's fantastic to be inspired by others, however it is worth remembering you also provide inspiration to others. Self-love is being involved in a system, which creates positive change in awareness and living. It is a must that we correspond within our self to initiate change. To inspire change we must feel important to others and most notably, ourselves. It is about listening to your needs and placing it into action without delay. This fuels your self esteem and awareness of YOU. This also assures our spirit guides we support ourselves and have belief in our decisions. We need to be able to manage ourselves emotionally with comfort. Most people today have enormous self doubt. Often we don't believe in ourselves or in the decisions we need to make in life and are often conditioned to leave things to another time or to wait and see if things improve. We are also taught, at times, that others will know better, which says, "I don't trust myself". We live in such a modern world. We have so much information going on in our minds, is it any wonder we feel overloaded or blocked. In reality, we want to act in the moment as it reassures us we believe and trust in who we are. As a society, we need to change many things about how we live our lives and learn to be kinder to ourselves. Positive results and outcomes in life are our proof we are seen and heard in life's journey. As we become confident with our choices we grow and align ourselves better each time. Having a positive love of the self creates many positive changes, allowing a better flow in life, which then expands into our personal relationships and how we treat and wish to be treated by others. I'm going to finish this post with a quote by Nathaniel Branden, which I believe shows us the importance of having a good dose of self love. "There is overwhelming evidence that the higher the level of self esteem, the more likely one will be to treat others with respect, kindness and generosity " |
